Site discussed; Sulphur Lake. Examined pollen record obtained from sediment cores, which has an estimated basal age of about 12,000 yr BP. Record indicates that boreal forest, dominated by white spruce (Picea glauca), has dominated the area since about 8000 yr BP. (04/04/2009).
