Other earth-science-related discussion lists can be found in a compilation called ores.txt (Online Resources for Earth Scientists). The last update (June 1994) wass available via anonymous ftp. The file comprised about 35 mail lists and is approximately 100K in length. ORES was compiled by Bill Thoen. A revised version, by Bill Thoen and Ted Smith, is expected to include about 150 lists and should be available in January 1995. For more information on the ORES compilation, please contact Ted Smith at ted.smith[at]cdmg[dot]uucp[dot]netcom[dot]com.
